Housing Options Made Easy (HOME) is a specialised team of
people at Milparinka who are passionate about walking alongside people with
disability in their journeys to better home and living arrangements. We believe
that everyone should have access to a safe home, be valued in their community
and be supported in ways that are tailored to who they are by people who “get
it”.
We support people to find great homes, no matter their needs
level. We do this by getting to know people and developing relationships with
them so that we can understand more deeply what they really want when
considering their home and living supports. We have sector leading expertise
and experience in Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), Supported Independent
Living (SIL) and Individualised Living Options (ILO).
This team was born out of a genuine need in the community for
people to have high quality technical support on how to navigate the NDIS when
it comes to finding a place to live. We come from many different backgrounds,
but all hold true to the ideal that everyone should have a great place to live.
