Social Housing and Assistance with Daily Living (ADL)

Those who live in Social Housing in combination with assistance of daily living will have made an application to the Victorian Housing register and potentially disability priority access and have identified a provider of Assistance with Daily Living supports. You will have been assigned a property and linked to a case manager who helps you to manage your tenancy.

What this looks like: You will have a provider of drop in supports is on board to assist you with activities of daily living, such as household shopping, personal care and domestic activity. This model will be applicable to those with lower support needs or only require intermittent support throughout the day or throughout the week.

This combination of home living supports can take a long time to set up, as accessing Social Housing can take a long time.
