Ownership and Natural Support
People who live in a combination of Home Ownership and Natural Supports will have very low support needs and will not require any direct formal supports.
What this looks like: You will live in your own home and may or may not share supports with others in your home. You may receive supports from family who live with you. For some people, staying in the family home and not having formal support is a way of life. You can still use other areas of your NDIS plan to receive others supports, such as therapies. You may have some formal supports to access the community. This model of support is for those who are totally independent at home and can be left without supports. Its important to plan for the future and ageing in place, as you may need some supports in the future. Your Support Coordinator can assist with planning for the future, and a Circle of Support may be a good idea to ensure that you have people who are thinking about what comes next for you.
