NDIS Operational Guidelines

Below are links to the NDIS Operational Guidelines in the Home and Living area. The people who are assisting you in your search for a great home need to know these well, including Allied Health providers.

NDIS Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Operational Guidelines – sets out how SDA works for both providers and Participants.

NDIS Individualised Living Option (ILO) Operational Guidelines – sets out how the Agency considers who is eligible for ILO and at what level.

NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) Operational Guidelines – sets out how SIL works for both providers and Participants.

It’s important that you or someone in your support team has a deep understanding of the policy and documentation behind the requests that you are making when it comes to your funding for Home and Living supports. It often falls to your Support Coordinator or an Allied Health provider to actually inform your NDIS planner of these documents and how they relate to what you’re asking for.
